Schools Workshop Programme

We offer FREE interactive workshops for 5-12 year olds in schools, youth groups and clubs.

Our Education team, uses the theme of dog ownership as a means to help pupils develop self-esteem, confidence, responsibility, communication and teamwork skills.

The workshops encourage young people to explore problems of irresponsible dog ownership as part of our aim to reduce the number of stray and abandoned dogs in Ireland.

The workshops are designed to be flexible and our Education Officers will do as much as they can to meet your school’s requirements. Our Education Officers use a range of activities with pupils and are more than happy to discuss and plan the workshop with you in advance.
